Your link is dead, but Gorilla makes some super tough axles.  They are what all of the mud races usually run.

I run the Gorilla axles and haven't had any problems with cv joints or the axle breaking. I've broken several stock cv joints and a stock axle but not with the gorillas. I' have seen the gorillas break but not with me yet.  I've had very bad luck with the gorilla cv boots tearing. I think they are better than stock but still a little overpriced..

I was looking into them but once I found out that if the axle breaks the warranty is void if the boot is torn. What the hell is with that? The dam boots tear almost every time you break an axle. Anyone have warranty issues with Gorilla?

That's the same warranty criteria that polaris uses. I broke a rear stock cv joint and ,of course getting it back home the boot just wound up on the axle and was mangled. My rzr was new and still under warranty but since the boot was torn they wouldn't cover it. Angry I learned to carry some needle nose pliers and a screw driver to pop off the cv boot bands when a cv would break and slide the boot up onto the axle so that it wouldn't tear.  It saved a lot of my buddys the trouble I had went through with polaris concerning the warranty issues.

That's good information to know about the CV boot and warranty.  I wouldn't expect Polaris would even cover the axle in the first place if it was broken.
