I am wondering the same thing.  I am seriously considering new shocks, but would entertain springs.  I do like the extra height the Highlifter springs give me so I still want to maintain the ride height.

You know, it would be very hard for me to say.  I literally only had 50 miles or so on my RZR prior to swapping out the springs so I have no comparison.  I can say, they are relatively harsh in some of the terrain I ride on (rocky creek beds) at 15-35 MPH.  That is one of the reasons I am considering switching to an aftermarket suspension.  However, like I said, I do not want the ride height any lower than it is now, so it very well may be a trade off.
