I just wanted to remind everyone about our bumper brace / radiator guard. I spoke to a guy yesterday that had to buy a new PWR radiator because he hit a rock on the trail with his lower bumper skid plate and his bumper bent back enough to run the upper mounting bolts through the radiator. He bought this part yesterday to protect the new radiator.
We invented this part a couple years ago, and it's been thourougly tested. This patent pending front bumper mount reinforcement kit is easily installed, is concealed behind the plastic bumper cover and fits with virtually all front bumpers to provide a solid bumper mount directly to the frame. When designing this part, we choose the strongest place to mount the brace, which is directly to the frame, straight behind the bumper. This is where Polaris mounts the winch, so this area is designed for a load and is much stronger than the sway bar mounts, or other tabs extending off the main frame. You can still use a winch with this brace installed too. Next we designed the brace using formed and welded steel to create an I-beam cross-section for strength so that the brace would not fold on impact like tubing can do. The Thunderhawk design also adds significant strength to the front section of the brace that crosses in front of the radaitor so that the brace doesn't bend back into the radiator if you hit something. And finally, the Thunderhawk brace fits all RZR's, regardless of what shocks you are running. The Thunderhawk design with direct frame mounting keeps the bumper brace far away from the shock reservoirs on aftermarket shocks and on the factory RZR-S and RZR-4, so it can't hit the reservoirs.
